Principals

James M. Connors, Chairman

Jim Connors, Chairman of Connors Investor Services, Inc., earned his BA in Economics at Princeton University in 1954 and his MBA degree at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1956. Jim is experienced in both investment management and industry. He was a security analyst at investment counselor Scudder, Stevens & Clark and held a number of management positions at Carpenter Technology Corporation before founding the firm in 1969.



Ronald H. Seher, Vice Chairman

Ron Seher`s career includes fourteen years with the investment banking firm of Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc., as Vice President and Resident Officer of the Reading office before joining Connors in 1985. Ron is responsible for oversight of client services and internal operations. He graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a BS degree and taught investment courses for a number of years at Penn State University.





Peter J. Connors, CFA, President

Peter Connors joined the firm in 1992 after five years in the computer services industry. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1988 with a BA degree in Economics and is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder, having been awarded the designation in 1999. In addition to his broader corporate responsibilities, Peterıs focus is on small cap equity research and portfolio management.


Robert C. Leayman, CFA, Senior Vice President

Prior to joining the firm in 1985, Bob Leayman served as a Financial Consultant for five years with Shearson Lehman Brothers, where he advised a wide variety of clients on investment portfolio strategies, including option writing and other hedging techniques. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Economics from Temple University. He is responsible for equity research and portfolio management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.


Steven C. Silverman, CFP, Senior Vice President

After fourteen years in banking, where he was a financial advisor to high-income and high-net-worth individuals, Steve joined Connors in 1997. He received a BS degree in Finance from Juniata College in 1984 and an MBA from St. Josephıs University in 1989. Steve is a Certified Financial Planner and is responsible for coordinating the successful development and implementation of client investment programs.




Robert J. Cagliola, CFA, Vice President

Robert Cagliola joined the firm in 1999. Previously, he was employed by Miller Anderson & Sherrerd, an asset management firm in West Conshohocken, PA, and as a Portfolio Analyst with SEI Investment Co. in Wayne, PA. Rob received a BS/BA degree in Finance and Economics from Shippensburg University in 1989, an MBA from Temple University in 1995, and the Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder designation in 2000. His responsibilities include portfolio management and equity research.


Lidia Zidik, Vice President

Lidia Zidik joined Connors in 1998. Her duties include office management of the advisory firm, as well as its administrative functions. She has 16 years' experience in the financial industry, most recently as vice president of broker services, and formerly, of shareholder services, for The William Penn Funds/Penn Square Management Corporation. She holds a BA degree from Albright College in Reading, PA.


Brian G. McCoy. CFA, Vice President

With over nine years of investment experience, Brian McCoy joined Connors in 2003. As a portfolio manager with First Investment Advisors, he served in a consultative role for high-net-worth clients and actively implemented investment programs. More recently, Brian was with the Alternative Investment Group of Evergreen Investments working as an analyst with Evergreenıs proprietary hedge fund and private equity fund-of-funds. He graduated with a BS from Pennsylvania State University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1999.  


Steven E. Pottieger, Vice President

With nineteen years’ experience in the securities industry, Steven Pottieger served as a Financial Advisor before joining Connors in 2005.  While at Morgan Stanley and E.F. Hutton, he was a Retirement Planning Specialist, advising clients on a variety of investment strategies. Steve graduated from Albright College in 1986 with a BS degree in Business and Finance. His duties include managing client relationships and monitoring asset allocations.
